New Delhi : India recorded 51,667 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours taking the tally of cases registered so far in the country to 3,01,34,445 at 8 am on June 25, 2021. On the other hand, a total of 64,527 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours taking the tally to 2,91,28,267 on June 25, 2021. Daily recoveries continued to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 43rd consecutive day on June 25. Recovery Rate (RR) improved to 96.66% in the country on June 25, 2021.
India also logged 1,329 new Covid-19 deaths in last 24 hours taking the toll to 3,93,310 on June 25, 2021, including 1,19,859 in Maharashtra, 34,425 in Karnataka, 31,901 in Tamilnadu, 24,948 in Delhi, 22366 in Uttar Pradesh, 17,516 in West Bengal, 15,944 in Punjab, 12,490 in Andhra Pradesh, 10,042 in Gujarat, 9,573 in Bihar, 9,333 in Haryana, 7,074 in Uttarakhand, and 5,106 in Jharkhand, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
India’s Active Caseload has further declined to 6,12,868 on June 25, a drop of 14,189 cases in last 24 hours. The Weekly Positivity Rate was 3.00% on June 25, 2021, while the Daily positivity rate was 2.98%, less than 5% for 18th consecutive days.
India administered 60.73 lakh vaccine doses in last 24 hours. Over 30.79 crore Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
