New Delhi : India’s cumulative vaccination coverage has exceeded 37.60 crore. A total of 37,60,32,586 vaccine doses have been administered through 48,33,797 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am on July 11, 2021. A total of 37,23,367 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The new phase of universalisation of Covid-19 vaccination commenced from June 21, 2021.
India logged 41,506 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally of cases registered so far in the country to 3,08,37,222 at 8 am on July 11, 2021. Less than 50,000 daily new Cases have been reported for 14the cconsecutive day. This is a result of sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs.
On gthe other hand, altogether 41,526 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in last 24 hours taking the tally to 2,99,75,064 on July 11, 2021. Out of the people infected since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,99,75,064 people have already recovered from Covid-19. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of 97.20% showing a sustained increasing trend, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
India’s Active Caseload was 4,54,118 on July 11, 2021, a drop of 915 cases in last 24 hours, and accounted for only 1.47% of the country’s total Positive Cases.
With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of 18,43,500 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted over 43 crore (43,08,85,470) tests so far.
A continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed. Weekly Positivity Rate is currently 2.32% while the Daily Positivity rate was 2.25% on July 11, 2021. Daily Positivity rate has remained less than 3% for 20 consecutive days, and has.
India logged 895 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 4,08,040 in the country on July 11, 2021, including 1,25,528 in Maharashtra, 35,779 in Karnataka, 33,371 in Tamilnadu, 25,012 in Delhi, 22,693 in Uttar Pradesh, 17903 in West Bengal, 16,177 in Punjab, 9,618 in Bihar, and 5,119 in Jharkhand.
