Patna : India scored 392/4 in 50 overs against Sri Lanka in the second ODI at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, on December 13, 2017, with Captain Rohit Sharma making an unbeaten 208 in 153 balls in an awe inspiring batting display. Rohit made batting look so ridiculously easy hitting 12 sixes and 13 fours.

It was Rohit Sharma’s 16th ODI century, his third double ton on December 13. His second hundred came in only 36 balls. The first hundred came in 115 balls. He hit four sixes in one over. It was also his first century as ODI captain. Rohit, who is also called Rohit Hitman Sharma, scored his first century in 40th over and thereafter it was no stopping him. Rohit had hit 264 and 209 in ODIs in the past.

Shikhar Dhawan made 68 in 67 balls hitting 9 fours. Shreyas Iyer also played a brilliant inning scoring 88 in 70 balls hiting 9 fours and 2 sixes. Rohit and Iyer were involved in a 213 run stand. MS Dhoni made 7 including a six.  N Pradip gave away 100 runs in his 10 overs without taking any wicket. T Perera took 3/80 in 8 overs.  Suranga Lakmal, who had taken 4/13 in the first ODI at Dharamsala, went wicketless giving away 71 runs in 8 overs.
