New Delhi : India logged 29,689 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours taking the tally of cases recorded so far in the country to 3,14,40,951 at 8 am on July 27, 2021. India has reported less than 30,000 daily cases after 132 days.
On the other hand, a total of 42,363 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / dischared in the country in last 24 hours taking the tally to 3,06,21,469 on July 27, 2021, exceeding the number of new Covid cases by a margin of 12,674.The Recovery Rate (RR) of Covid patients in the country was 97.39% on July 27.
India’s Active caseload was 3,98,100 on July 27, 2021, a drop of 13,089 cases in last 24 hours,less than 4,00,000 after 124 days. Active cases accounted for 1.27% of the total cases on July 27. The Weekly Positivity Rate was 2.33% on July 27 while the Daily positivity rate was at 1.73%.
India recorded 415 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 4,21,382 in the country on July 27, 2021, including 1,31,605 in Maharashtra, 36,405 in Karnataka, 33,937 in Tamilnadu, 25,044 in Delhi, 22,750 in Uttar Pradesh, 18,085 in West Bengal, 16,278 in Punjab, 9,639 in Bihar, and 5,124 in Jharkhand, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
Meanwhile, over 44.19 crore ( 44,19,12,395 ) Vaccine Doses administered so far in the country under Nationwide Vaccination Drive including 66,03,112 doses on July 26, 2021. The country has tested 45,91,64,121 samples so far including 17,20,110 samples on July 26.
