New Delhi : India reported 12,514 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, further down from from 12,830 cases on October 31, 2021.. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases that have been reported for 127 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 12,718 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the last 24 hours, down from 14,667 recoveries on October 31, 2021, taking the tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,36,68,560 on November 1, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) was 98.20% on November 1, 2021.
The Active Caseload was 1,58,817 on November 1 2021, down from 1,59,272 cases the lowest in 248 days. Active cases accounted for 0.46% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 1, the lowest since March 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
With the administration of 12,77,542 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 106.31 Crore (1,06,31,24,205) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 1, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,06,32,634 sessions.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 8,81,379 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 60.92 Crore (60,92,01,294) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.17% remains less than 2% for the last 38 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.42% on November 1. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 28 days and below 3% for 63 consecutive days now.
