New Delhi : India reported 11,903 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, up from 10,423 cases on November 2, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 129 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 14,159 Covid-19 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, down from 15,021 recoveries on November 2, 2021, taking the tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,36,97,740 on November 3, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) stands at 98.22%.
The Active Caseload was 1,51,209 on November 3, 2021, down from 1,53,776 cases a day before, the lowest in 252 days. Active cases accounted for 0.44% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 3, the lowest since March 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
With the administration of 41,16,230 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 107.29 Crore (1,07,29,66,315) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 3, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,07,96,018 sessions.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 10,68,514 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 61.12 Crore (61,12,78,853) sample tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.18% remains less than 2% for the last 40 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.11% on November 3, 2021. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 30 days and below 3% for 65 consecutive days now.
