New Delhi : India logged 10,229 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours. down from 11,271 cases on November 14, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 141 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 11,926 Covid-19 patients were declared cured in last 24 hours, up from 11,376 recoveries on November 14, 2021, increasing the the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,38,49,785 on November 15, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) was 98.26% on November 15, according to UNion Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload was 1,34,096 on November 15, 2021, down from 1,35,98 cases on November 14, the lowest in 523 days.Active cases accounted for 0.39% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 15, the lowest since March 2020.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 9,15,198 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 62.46 Crore (62,46,66,542) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.99% remains less than 2% for the last 52 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.12% on November 15. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 42 days and below 3% for 77 consecutive days now.
With the administration of 30,20,119 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 112.34 Crore (1,12,34,30,478) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 15, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,15,01,243 sessions.
