New Delhi : India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed 100 Crore landmark (1,00,53,63,691) on October 21, 2021. India celebrated this historic achievement with the launch of a film and song at capital Delhi’s Red Fort by Union Health Minister,Mansukh Mandaviya.
More than 56 lakh (56,11,985) Vaccine Doses were administered till 7 pm on October 21, 2021. The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late tonight.
India reported 18,454 new Covid cases on October 21, 2021, morning. The recovery of 17,561 patients in the last 24 hours increased the cumulative tally of recoveries (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,34,95,808 on October 21. India’s recovery rate stands at 98.15%, t its highest peak since March 2020, according to a PIB release. The Active Caseload remains below 2 lakh mark and was 1,78,831 on the day accounting for 0.52% of the country’s total Positive Cases, the lowest since March 2020.
