Patna : India defeated West Indies (WI) by 44 runs in 2nd ODI at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on February 9, 2022, night, to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Chasing a target of 238 runs, WI were all out for 193 runs in 46 overs as fast medium bowler Prasidh Krishna took 4/12 in 9 overs in a devastating spell of fast bowling while fellow fast medium bowler Shardul Thakur took 2/41 in 9 overs.
