Patna : India beat West Indies (WI) by 22 runs under DLS method in the 2nd T20I at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida, USA, after play was stopped due to bad weather on August 4, 2019, night, with the WI scoring 98/4 in 15.3 overs. Krunal Pandya, who scored an unbeaten 20 runs with 2 sixes and took 2/23 in 3.3 overs, was declared Player of the Match. With it, India have now taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.

Opting to bat after winning the toss, India had scored 167/5 in 20 overs with opener Rohit Sharma scoring 67 in 51 balls hitting 6 fours and 3 sixes. In reply, WI had scored 84/4 in 15.3 overs with Rovman Powell scoring 54 in 34 balls hitting 6 fours and 3 sixes when play was stopped due to bad weather.
