Patna : India crushed Ireland by 143 runs in the 2nd T20I at Dublin, Ireland, on June 29, 2018, night, due to superb bowling by their bowlers and execellent batting by Lokesh Rahul, Suresh Raina, and allrounder Hardik Pandya. India wrapped up the 2 match T20I series 2-0.

Ireland won the toss but opted to bowl. India scored 213/4 in 20 overs. In reply, Ireland were all out for 0nly 70 in 12.3 overs with wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal amd Kuldeep Yadav taking three wickets each while Umesh Yadav took two wickets. Hardik Pandya and Siddharth Kaul took one wicket each.

Batting first, India lost their first wicket at 22 when captain and opener Virat Kohli was out for 9. Lokesh Rahul made 70 in 36 ball hitting 3 fours and 6 sixes while Suresh Raina made 69 in 45 ball hitting 5 fours and 3 sixes. Rohit Sharma was out for a duck. Hardik Pandya made an unbeaten 32 in 9 ball hitting 4 sixes and a four while Manish Pandey remained not out on 21 in 20 ball with just one four. For Ireland, Kevin O Brien took 3/40.

Chasing a target of 214, Ireland collapsed to be all out for 70 with captain and wicketkeeper Gary Wilson scoring 15 and William Porterfield making 14. Stuart Thompson made 13. Ireland lost their first wicket at 0, second at 16, third at 22, fourth at 30, fifth at 32, and sixth at 36.
