Patna : India defeated Bangladesh by 95 runs in an ICC World Cup warm-up match at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, UK, on May 28, 2019, night, with wrist spinners : Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, taking 3 wickets each and leg spinner Ravindra Jadeja taking one wicket. Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets.

Replying to India’s 359/7 in 50 overs, Bangladesh were all out for 264 in 49.3 overs with Mushfiqur Rahman (wk) scoring 90 in 94 balls hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes and opener Liton Das scoring 73 in 90 balls hitting 10 fours. Opener Soumya Sarkar made 25 while Mehidy Hasan was run out for 27. Bangladesh had won the toss but opted to bowl. Chahal took 3/55 while Kuldeep took 3/47. Bumrah took 2/25 in 5 overs. Jadeja took 1/40 in 9.3 overs.

Batting first, India scored 359/7 with Lokesh Rahul scoring 108 in 99 balls hitting 12 fours and 4 sixes and M S Dhoni scoring 113 in78 balls with 8 fours and 7 sixes. Captain Virat Kohli made 47 while opener Rohit Sharma scored 19 runs. Hardik Pandya made 21.
