Patna : India reached defeated Australia by 96 runs in semi-final at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua, on February 2, 2022, late night, to reach their 4th consecutive final of ICC U19 World Cup. They had lost to Bangladesh in final last time. India U19 team captain Yash Dhull was named Player Of The Match.
Chasing a target of 291 runs, Australia were skittled out for just 194 runs in 41.5 overs with spinner Vicky Ostwal taking 3/42 in 10 overs and fellow spinner Nishant Sindhu taking 2/25 in 6 overs while medium fast bowler Ravi Kuma took 2/37 in 6 overs.
