Patna : India, who scored 297 in the first innings, were 98/3 in 37 overs in their 2nd innings at tea on Day 3 of the 1st Test against West Indies (WI) at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, on August 24, 2019, late night, with captain Virat Kohli batting on 14 and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane batting on 5.India lead by 173 runs.
Openers Lokesh Rahul and Mayank Agarwal scored 38 and 16 runs respectively while Cheteswar Pujara scored 25. Rahul fell to Roston Chase. Mayank also fell to Roston Chase while Pujara fell to fast bowler Kemar Roach.
Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 189/8, WI were all out for 222 in their first innings.
