Patna : Chasing a target of 112 runs, India U19 were 54/1 after 18 overs in their U19 World Cup quarter-final match against Bangladesh (BAN) U19 at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua, on January 29, 2022, late night, with opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi,16, unbeaten on 35 with 5 fours and Shaik Rashid, 17, batting on 14 run with 1 four. India new 58 runs more to win the match.
India had a shaky start though were 0/2 after 2 overs losing the wicket of opener Harnoor Singh (0) in 2nd over. Raghuvanshi and Saik Rashid, however, steadied the innings.They have added 54 runs so far in their unbroken partnership for the 2 wicket. India had won the toss and opted to bowl.
Batting first, BAN were all out for a paltry 111 runs in 37.1 bers with S M Meherob scoring 30 runs. For India, medium fast bowler Ravi Kumar, 18, took 3/14 in 7 overs.
