Patna : India were 168/1 after 39 over in their second innings against Sri Lanka on the fourth day of first cricket test between the two countries at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on November 19, 2017. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Lokesh Rahul had stitched a partnership of 166 runs when the former was out for 94 in 115 balls missing his century by only six runs. D Shanaka took the wicket of Dhawan.

Rahul was playing on 71 and Cheteshwar Pujara on one. India had made only 172 in their first innings replying to which Sri Lanka made 294 runs taking a handy 122 run lead.
