Patna : Replying to New Zealand’s 239/8 in 50 overs, India were 123/6 after 36 overs in the first semi-finals of CWC at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, UK, on July 10, 2019, with openers Lokesh Rahul and Rohit Sharma, and captain Virat Kohli getting out for 1 each. M S Dhoni (wk) was batting on 21 and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on 17.

India made a disastrous start losing the wickets of Rahul, Rohit, and Virat with only 5 runs on the board. Dinesh Karthik fell too Matt Henry for 6 making it 24/4. All-rounder Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant scored 32 each adding 47 runs for the 5th wicket. Both fell to spinner Mitchell Santner making it 92/6.
