Patna: FIITJEE conducted a seminar by JEE (Adavanced) toppers and distinguished FIITJEE experts at Rabindra Bhavan Auditorium here on Tuesday to show right path to the students preparing for IIT-JEE and other engineering exams.

The seminar was an Open House for question answer session from the top rankers and expert faculties of FIITJEE. The IIT-JEE aspirants had an opportunity to know about the Science of Success. The interactive seminar provided valuable insights to students in getting the best results at IIT-JEE and other competitive exams and various Olympiads. It was attended by over 1,000 students majority of them being those who start preparing for the such exams from Class IX itself. The seminar provided a platform to the students to know themselves better in terms of focus and skill sets. Personal interaction between IIT-JEE aspirants and top rankers of JEE (Advanced) and FIITJEE experts was the highlight of the seminar.

Cracking IIT-JEE requires not just the right aptitude but right attitude as well hence correct guidance and good mentors go a long way in students’ academic success, said FIITJEE sources. The seminar shared these concerns and stressed on importance of starting early in one’s preparation for IIT-JEE to have an edge over others. The seminar threw light on the effective techniques to increase efficiency of studies, how to improve the examination temperament, how to keep continuous motivation alive, the effective memory techniques and how to use and improve the IQ while preparing for the examinations.

“Unlike the general belief among students, parents and even many of the so called experts, success in IIT-JEE is not merely a function of a students’ ability to understands concepts. The real challenge is to develop analytical thinking skills – the art of weaving the concepts and knowledge acquired into a logical sequence to get correct solution to a problem. FIITJEE’s training methodology involves developing the analytical ability of a student along with the right mix of attitude and examination temperament,” said Sharat Prakash, Centre Head, FIITJEE, Patna Centre.
