Patna: IG (Weaker section) Anil Kishore Yadav on February 11 directed Central Range DIG Shalin and Patna SSP Mannu Maharaaj to arrest Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) Principal Dr SN Sinha for his
alleged involvement in scuffle with a junior doctor on hospital premises in November, 2016.
PMCH Principal was allegedly involved in a scuffle with a medico over parking of latter’s bike on the hospital premises. The student had alleged that not only principal beat him, he was also roughed up by his bodyguard. The victim later lodged a written complaint with the Pirbahore police station.
Dissatisfied with police investigation, the medical student had submitted a petition with IG (Weaker) section seeking justice. Efforts to contact SSP, Patna, proved futile.
