IAS officer on central deputation gets Proforma Promotion to Apex Scale

Patna : The State Government on July 22, 2019, granted Proforma Promotion to Apex Payscale ( Chief Secretary rank) to Bimbadhar  Pradhan, a 1987 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer currently on central holding the post of Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Ministry, Government of India, with effect from July 10, 2019. This follows promotion to Apex scale to Pradhan’s batchmate S Shivkumar, also a Bihar cadre IAS officer. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on July 22, 2019.
