I-T raids at Muzaffarpur, Rs 1.5 cr cash seized

Muzaffarpur  : Income-Tax (I-T) Department sleuths seized documents relating to ownership of gold and silver jewellery weighing 5.5 kg, several plots of land, and over a dozen bank pass-books from the premises of Chairperson, District Board, Muzaffarpur, Indra Devi, and her father-in-law Musafir Paswan, a former MLA, during raids carried out at four locations in Muzaffarpur Town on April 16, 2019.

The I-T sleuths also seized Rs 1.5 crore cash during the raids, according to Assistant Director, Muzaffarpur region, Deepak Anand. The preparation of seizure list continued till 2 am on April 17, 2019.
