New Delhi : The Income- Tax (I-T) Department carried out search and seizure operation on March 10, 2021, on two persons based in Kolkata engaged in handling of cash of others on commission basis. The search was carried out based on intelligence gathered by the Department.
The search action has resulted in seizure of total unaccounted cash amounting to Rs 121.50 lakh. Further investigations are in progress, according to a PIB release.
