Hurkacz beats Paire to lift Winston-Salem Open title

Patna :World No 41 Hubert Hurkacz, 22, Poland, won his first ATP singles  title beating World No 30 and top seed Benoit Paire, 30, France, in three-sets in the final of Winston-Salem Open, an ATP 250 points event, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA, on August 25, 2019, early morning.

Third seed Hurkacz beat Paire 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in 2 hr 9 minutes in the final. Hurkacz won 5 break points to 4 by Paire. But, Paire fired 10 Aces in the match to 6 by the Pole. Paire committed 6 double faults to 4 by Hurkacz. Paire won 4 games in a row to 3 by the Pole. Hurkacz won 54 service points to 46 by Paire.
