Ara : Bhojpur police recovered body of a Homeguards Jawan from near Nayaka Tola Mor under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur District on February 25, 2020, morning.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the murder of Homegurads personnel is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Jagdishpur police station in this connection and police are investigating into the matter. The deceased is yet to be identified.
SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that some unidentified miscreants hit on the head of the Homeguards Jawan with a sharpedged weapon from behind near Nayaka Tola Mor on Ara-Bhabhua NH-30 on February 24, 2020, late evening, killing him on the spot. The miscreants also cut his private part and lips and crushed his face to erase his identity.
