HLC approves additional central assistance of Rs 546 cr to Karnataka

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of the High Level Committee (HLC) here on November 19, 2018, to consider the additional Central Assistance to the State of Karnataka affected by floods/landslides during 2018-19.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, and senior officers of the Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance and Agriculture and NITI Aayog were present in the meeting. The HLC approved the additional assistance from National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) of Rs 546.21 crore to Karnataka, according to a PIB release.
