New Delhi : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of the High Level Committee (HLC) in New Delhi on December 6, 2018, to consider the additional Central Assistance to the States of Kerala, Nagaland, and Andhra Pradesh, which were affected by floods, landslides and cyclone Titli respectively during recent months.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, and senior officers of the Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance and Agriculture were present at the meeting.

The HLC approved an additional assistance from National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) of Rs 3,048.39 crore to Kerala, Rs 131.16 crore to Nagaland, and Rs 539.52 crore to Andhra Pradesh (AP), according to a PIB release.
