Hindi version of film ‘2.0’ crosses Rs 100 cr mark in 5 days

Patna : The Hindi version of S Shankar directorial film ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson crossed Rs 100 crore mark on the fifth day since its release on November 29, 2018.  The film was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on a non-Holiday. The Hindi version has grossed over Rs 110 crore in five days. It collected Rs 25 crore on its third day on December 1 and Rs 34 crore on the fourth day on December 2. It collected over Rs 13.5 crore on December 3, 2018.

The worldwide collection of the movie, a sequel to 2010 hit fim enthiran (Robot), stands at over Rs 400 crore so far. The domestic collection of the film in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi version was about Rs 260 crore in five days. It is superstar Akshay Kumar’s first Tamil film. He plays the role of an antagonist Dr Pakshirajan in this sci-fi film. Rajinikangh plays the role of Dr Vaseegaran , Chitti. 2.0, and 3.0  in the film. Made at a budget of over Rs 510 crore, the film also stars Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.
