New Delhi : Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall is very likely on June 20, 2021, at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and Heavy Rainfall at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Gujarat, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, Coastal and SouthInterior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, according to National Weather Forecasting Centre of the India Meteorological Department.
Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi with lightning at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh,Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Coastal and North Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Duststorm/Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely at isolated places over Rajasthan.
Strong Winds (speed 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) very likely over Southwest, Westcentral and adjoining Eastcentral Arabian Sea and Squally Weather (speed 50-60 kmph) over North Bay of Bengal;(speed50-60kmph)along and off Kerala-Karnataka-Goa-south Maharashtra-Gujarat coasts and Lakshadweep area. Fishermenhave been advised not to venture into these areas
