Ara : Bhojpur police on December 20, 2018, arrested the Headmaster Incharge, Sadaasitola Primary School at village Finagi under Bihia police station, Rajendra Prasad, in connection with alleged embezzlement of fund meant for construction of school building. Prasad was arrested when he was taking class. Later, police sent him to jail. Station House Officer, Bihia police station, Ravindra Kumar, confirmed arrest of the Headmaster Incharge.
Block Education Officer (BEO), Satyendra Kumar Singh, said that about Rs 4.84 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of building years ago but the Headmaster Incharge did not construct the building and embezzled the fund instead. The BEO said he had lodged a named FIR against the Headmaster Incharge in this connection.
