Headmaster elopes with teenage girl student in Buxar District

Buxar : Headmaster of Upgraded High School, Bhadar ,under Sikraul Police Station in Buxar district, who ran tutorial classes where a number of girls and boys came for coaching from nearby areas for coaching, allegedly eloped with a teenage girl student on March 14, 2020, with a view to marrying her.

A named FIR has been lodged with Sikraul police station in connection. Police are investigating into the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the teacher and recover the girl. The teacher was identified as Praveen Kumar, Headmaster, Upgraded High School, Bhadar under Sikraul police station. Praveen Kumar is a resident of Gazipur District in Uttar Pradesh.

SHO, Sikraul Police station, said that Praveen Kumar is Headmaster at Upgraded High School, Bhadar under Sikraul Police Station in Buxar District, but he ran tutorial classes where a number of girls and boys came for coaching from nearby areas. Meanwhile, the Headmaster fell in love with a teenage student. He promised her to marry and eloped with her on March 14, 2020, evening, the SHO added.

When the girl did not return home till late, her family members searched for her and after failing in their effort , they lodged a named FIR with Sikraul police station against Headmaster  Praveen Kumar. After institution of FIR,  police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the Headmaster and recover the girl. The SHO said that police will very soon arrest the Headmaster and recover the girl.
