Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Fagu Chauhan on March 8, 2020, appointed new VCs for BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, and Nalanda Open University (NOU), Patna, and Pro-VC for Magadh University(MU), Bodh Gaya. The appointments were made on the basis of recommendations of the Search Committee after effective consultation with the State Government.
Professor Hanuman Prasad Pandey has been appointed VC, BRABU, Muzaffarpur, while Professor H N Prasad has been appointed VC, NOU, Patna. Professor Vibhuti Naraian Singh has been appointed Pro-VC, MU, Bodh Gaya, according to a Raj Bhavan release. All of them have been appointed to their respective posts for a period of three years from the date of their joining.
