Patna : AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh was granted bail by additional chief judicial magistrate court, Hajipur, in Vaishali district, on Wednesday. The court had issued a warrant on August 2 in a case file by a follower by Baba Ramdev, Ajit Singh, who felt hurt by a statement of Digvijay Singh at a public meeting at Indore in 2012.
Former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh was asked to furnish two bail bonds of Rs 5,000 each. Digvijay, who reached here in the morning, went to the residence of RJD president Lalu Prasad before leaving for Hajipur. He was received by the animal resources minister and Congress leader Awadesh Kumar Singh.
