Gunneswaran enters SFs of ATP Bangkok Challenger II

Patna : World No 97 in ATP rankings Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, India, entered the semi-finals of Bangkok Challenger II, a part of ATP Challenger Tour, at Bangkok, Thailand, on February 22, 2019, defeating World No 194 Go Soeda, 34, Japan, in the quarter-finals.

Top seed Gunneswaran beat 9th seed Go Soeda 6-3, 6-3 to enter the semi-finals of the tournament played on hard courts. Gunneswaran will face World No 210 James Duckworth, 27, Australia, in the semi-finals on February 23, 2019. Duckworth defeated World No 213 Gianlucka Mager, 24, Italy, in the QFs.
