Gujral takes over as Asst Chief of Naval Staff ( Communications Space)

New Delhi : Rear Admiral D S Gujral has taken over as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Communications Space and Net-centric Operations) at Integrated Headquarters of MoD(Navy).

The Flag officer, an alumnus of 69^th Course National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, was commissioned into the Executive Branch of Indian Navy on January 1, 1987.  Communication & Electronics Warfare Specialist, his afloat appointments include Executive Officer (EXO) of INS Nashak and INS Delhi, and Command of INS Nishank, INS Karmuk and INS Trishul, according to a PIB release.  He has undergone Joint Staff Course at Collège interarmées de defense, France, and Higher Command Course at Naval War College,US.
