Har Prasad Das Jain School is an examination centre for matriculation examinations. On the second day of examination, in the first sitting, at least 75 examinees reached the examination centre around 9.50 am though the scheduled time of reporting was 9.20 am and so the guard at the gate of the examination centre prevented them from entering the examination hall. Police rushed to the spot and calmed down the examinees and then the examinees were allowed inside the examination centre.

The guard Chandrama Chaudhary alleged that the examinees were preparing chit for resorting to unfair means at the examination centre and so reached the examination centre late and when he prevented, they got agitated. The Guardians said that the main gate was closed at 9.20 am and so hundreds of examinees could not enter the examination centre but the guard said that the main gate was closed after 9.30 am as per the instruction of Bihar School Examination Board, Patna. Surprisingly, neither the Centre Superintendent nor the magistrates on duty were seen when the guardians were creating unruly scene at the examination centre.
