Governor Tandon releases book “Quality in Higher Education-Issues and Challenges”

Patna : Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon on May 20, 2019, released a book “Quality in Higher Education-Issues and Challenges” edited by Prof Tapan Kumar Shandiya and Tanya Sharma at Raj Bhavan. The Governor said that the efforts to improve the standard of higher education in the state would be intensified further.

Governor Tandon said that some colleges under different universities in the state should be developed in a way that they rank among the top colleges and institutions of higher education in the country. He said that the NAAC Accreditation of Constituent Colleges across the state and  University Management Information System (UMIS) had been accorded top priority in the state.
