Governor Tandon convenes meeting of VCs on Dec. 14

Patna : Governor cum Chancellor of state universities Lalji Tandon has convened a meeting of Vice-Chancellors (VCs) at Raj Bhavan on December 14, 2018, at 11 am to review the implementation of directives given to them to improve the quality of higher education in the state. Governor Lalji Tandon will preside over the meeting. Bihar Education Minister and officials of Education Department and Governor’s secretariat will also attend the meeting.

Earlier, the Governor’s secretariat had asked for online reports from all the VCs on 25 points including implementation of examination calendar, uploading of attendance of students and teachers in BEd colleges on BEd post Apps, steps taken for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation, appointment of Gueat Faculties, procurement through GeM, and implementation of University Management Information System (UMIS) by December 10, 2018.
