Governor Malik congratulates Kalpana for topping NEET 2018 exam

Patna : Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik on June 5, 2018, congratulated Kalpana Kumar, 17, daughter of Rakesh Mishra and Mamta Kumari of Sheohar district in North Bihar, for topping the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 securing 691 marks out of 720 including hundred percent in Biology. The Governor said that Kalpana has set a record.

” I have always said that Bihar students are capable of topping competitive examinations. I have great faith in Bihar students,” Governor Malik said. The girls have always done very well at university examinations in Bihar, he said. The Governor said that Kalpana has brought laurels to Bihar. He also congratulated Kalpana’s parents, according to a Raj Bhavan release.

Kalpana secured 360 out of 360 in Biology, 171 out of 180 in Physics and 160 out of 180 in Chemistry at NEET 2018 exam, the entrance examination for admission to different medical colleges in India for MBBS course. She prepared for NEET 2018 in Delhi. She did Class X from Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya, Sheohar, and appaered for Intermediate Exam conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) from a college at Tariyani in Sheohar district. Both her parents are teachers.
