Governor designate Malik given Guard of Honour at State Hanger

Patna : Bihar Governor designate Satya Pal Malik, who arrived at Patna Airport at 4.15 pm on October 3, 2017, was accorded a warm welcome by CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Speaker, Bihar legislative assembly Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Deputy Chairman, Bihar legislative council, Haroon Rashid, and members of State Cabinet. He arrived at Patna Airport by Jet Airways flight.

The Governor designate was given a Guard of Honour at the State Hanger of Patna Airport. Bihar Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and DGP P K Thakur were also present on the occasion. Principal Secretary to the Governor and other officials of Governor’s Secretariat welcomed Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan. The Governor designate will take oath of office at Rajendra Mandap, Raj Bhavan, at 10 am on October 4, 2017.
