Governor asks VC, BRABU, to suspend Director, Distance Education, Shivji Singh

Patna : Bihar governor -cum- Chancellor of state universities Ram Nath Kovind on February 17, 2017, ordered for suspension of Director, Distance Education Directorate, B R Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, Shivji Singh, and Administrative Officer, Distance Education Directorate, BRABU, Lallan Kumar, for running some courses without the approval of the Chancellor’s office and also running education centres even as they did not meet the UGC guidelines. The Chancellor has also directed the VC, BRABU, authorities to seek explanation from the  two officials and start departmental proceedings against them.
