Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities on March 23, 2019, directed all the universities to strictly follow the academic and examination calendar and hold the convocation soon after declaration of results. The Governor asked all the universities to hold the pending examination before start of the next academic session this year at any cost.

It may be mentioned here that at the meeting of VCs held at Raj Bhavan on March 14, 2019, it was noticed that two degree level examinations in Magadh University (MU), Bodh Gaya, 3 in Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, 5 in Jai Prakash University (JPU), Chhapra, 3 in BNMU, Madhepura, and 3 in BRABU, Muzaffarpur, were still pending. Similarly, 4 PG level examinations in MU, 2 in VKSU, 4 in JPU, 3 in BNMU, 2 in TMBU, Bhagalpur, and 3 in BRABU, are yet to held.

The Governor has also directed five universities: MU, Bodh Gaya, VKSU, Ara, BRABU, Muzaffarpur, Patliputra University (PPU), Patna, and Munger University, Munger, to complete the appointments of Guest Faculty as per requirement at the earliest.
