Gold worth Rs 10 cr, cash looted from Muthoot Finance office at Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : Six bike borne  unidentified criminals looted gold kept in 5 bags worth about Rs 10 crore and about Rs 2 lakh cash from the Muzaffarpur office of gold financing company Muthoot Finance located under Sadar police station, Muzaffarpur, in North Bihar around 12 noon on February 6, 2019, and escaped unchallenged.

The criminals entered Muthoot Finance company office posing as persons seeking gold loan but soon made its staff captive after hitting the Manager on his head with the butt of pistol and looted gold and cash. DSP Town Mukul Ranjan soon reached the place of occurrence is probing into the incident. The criminals also thrashed the employees present at the office.
