GOI appoints R Laxmanan as ED, Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd.

Patna : Bihar Government on February 6, 2019, relieved R Laxmanan, a 2004 batch IAS officer and MD, South Bihar Power Company Limited holding additional charge of MD, Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited, for central deputation from the date of his relinquishing charge of his presents assigments. Laxmanan has been appointed Executive Director (ED), Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, New Delhi, by the Government of India (GOI) .

Sanjeevan Sinha, Director (HR), Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited, will hold additional charge of MD, South Bihar Power Company Limited  and MD, Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited after Laxmanan relinquishes charge of his assignments. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on February 6.
