Global Education Fair at DPS Bokaro

Bokaro (Jharkhand) : A global education fair was organised at DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand in association with Blue Sky Education on October 18, 2019, to make the students aware of the courses available in foreign universities and provide them exposure to the opportunities available to study abroad.

Addressing the gathering Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said that the best form of education is the one that employs a skilled and disciplined quest to explore ideas that result in improved understanding. He said this fair will generate many ideas that will help students in their career prospects. “Through this initiative, we look forward to bring about holistic growth wherein children are able to think beyond the accepted notions,” Gangwar said

Managing Director of Blue Sky Education, Mahasweta Banerjee, while talking to the participants remarked that this is a maiden Global Fair in Bokaro and one of its kind. She opined that this fair features spot application availability under one roof for various universities across the globe. It also provides an opportunity to the students of class XII to get information on visa consulting, arrival and departure consulting, application fee waivers, etc.

Over one thousand students from 29 schools of Bokaro participated at the Education Fair and availed the opportunity to clear  their doubts and got first-hand information on education opportunities abroad after passing class XII.

The universities participating through their respective representatives were : University of the Potomac, USA; Troy University, USA; Colorado State University, USA; Wright State University, USA; University of Alberta, Canada; University of Victoria, Canada; Thompson Rivers’ University, Canada; University of Ottawa, Canada; University of Windsor, Canada; University of Guelph, Canada; Cape Breton University, Canada; University of British Columbia (UNBC), Canada; Nipissing University, Canada; Selkirk College, Canada; Cumberland College, Canada;  Parkland College, Canada; Manipal University, Dubai; Amity University, Dubai, and S P Jain University, Singapore.
