Girl raped at Remand Home, accused arrested

Patna: Superintendent, Remand Home, Gaighat, Daisy Kumari on January 30 evening lodged a written complaint with Alamganj police station in connection with rape of a remand home girl inmate on January 29, 2017. Alamganj police station SHO said that one Mohan Kumar had been arrested and forwarded to judicial custody in this connection. He said that some construction works was going inside the Remand Home at Nishant Griha and Mohan, who was working as a labourer there, raped the girl on January 29 afternoon. The girl has been sent to Guru Govind Singh Hospital for medical examination, the SHO added.
