Girl kidnapped 4 year ago and raped dropped at home by kidnapper

Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a kidnapped girl from her house at Piro under the same police station after four years and brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination on July 1, 2018, morning. Her mother had filed a case in Ara Civil Court against a youth of the same village charging him with kidnapping and subsequent murder of her daughter four years ago. Later, an FIR was lodged with Woman police station on the direction of the court.

SHO, Woman police station, Poonam Kumari, said that the 22 old year old girl of Piro had developed love affairs with Shahzad of the same village about four years ago. Later, Shahzad kidnapped her with a promise to marry her and outraged her modesty for about four years. He kept her at Siwan and Lakhisarai. Whenever she pressurised him for marriage, he smartly refused on some excuse. After her kidnapping, her mother filed a complaint case in Ara civil court against Shahzad charging him kidnapping and killing her daughter for dowry in 2014.

The SHO said that under mounting police pressure and pressure of the girl for marriage, Shahzad dropped the girl at her house at Piro and fled away in the evening on June 30, 2018.

The girl told this correspondent at Ara Sadar Hospital that she still wanted to marry Shahzad and requested police to arrange her marriage with him and that she could not think of marrying  another person.

The SHO said that a  case was filed for kidnapping and murder of girl but the girl was recovered from her parents’ house. She said that police would produce her before the court on July 2, 2018,to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC.
