Ara : Union Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Minister Giriraj Singh on October 20, 2019, termed the rising population in India as second stage cancer and said this problem will aggravate by 2023.
Talking to mediapersons at Ara Circuit House, Giriraj said that the rising population is just like second stage cancer and a stict law is needed to check it. He said this would become a horrible problem by 2023 if it remains unchecked. The firebrand senior BJP leader pleaded for stringent law to check rising population without caste, creed, race and religious discrimination and those who do not abide by the rule, must be taken to task. He further said that the recalcitrant ones should be deprived of voting rights.
