New Delhi : Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation and Shipping, Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari is leaving on June 19, 2018, for a two- day official visit to Tajikistan on June 20 & 21. He will attend a high-level conference on “International Decade for Action: Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028” being held in Dushanbe.
The conference aims to promote national, regional and international action on integrated and sustainable water resources management worldwide. Gadkari will represent India at the conference and speak about the work being done by the Government for sustainable development and management of water resources in the country, according to a PIB release.
