Patna : Former champion France and Belgium were locked 0-0 at half-time after 47 minutes of play in their semi-finals (SF) match of FIFA World Cup on July 10, 2018, night, at Saint Petersburg Stadium, Russia. France had made two shots at the target to Belgium’s 1.

This is Belgium’s second appearance in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals. They had also reached the semi-finals in 1986 where they lost to eventual champion Argentina. France had won the World Cup in 1998.
