France beat Peru 1-0 in World Cup, Aus- Denmark match ends 1-1

Patna : France defeated Peru 1-0 in a Group C match of FIFA World Cup at Ekaterinburg Arena, located in central Yekateriburg, Russia, on June 21, 2018, with Midfielder Kylian Mbappe, 19,  scoring the winning goal in the 34th minute of the match. France had won the World Cup in 1998 and are making their 14th apperance in the tournament. Mbappe has become the youngest player of France to score a goal in a big tournament.

But, a Group C between Australia and Denmark ended in 1-1 draw at Samara Arena, Russia, on June 21. Midfielder Christian Eriksen scored goal for Denmark in the 7th minute while for Australia Midfielder Mile Jedinak scored goal in the 38th minute through penalty.
